Prakash Raj next bollywood film ‘Zanjeer’ remake

South star and Bollywood baddie Prakash Raj has been roped in by filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia to play a crucial role in the remake of Prakash Mehra’s Zanjeer

The Singham actor is all ready to play baddie in the remake of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan’s hit film, Zanjeer. The film also has Tollywood hunk Ram Charan Teja(Chiranjeevi’s son) playing the lead role.According to sources, the South Indian actor-producer-director Prakash Raj is happy to bag the offer, as he feels that his role in the film will be a challenge to the actor in him. And the Zanjeer remake is soon set to go on the floors. At present, Prakash is busy shooting for Karthi Sivakumar’s Shakuni, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual directed by debutant Shankar Dayal, where he plays the villain again. Some of the important scenes with Karthi and Prakash Raj were shot recently in Hyderabad.
Prakash is also expected to play the baddie in the Bollywood remake of the Tamil hit Siruthai. Sources claim, “Since Prakash Raj is good friends with Prabhu Deva, the director of the film, he will surely rope in the National Award-winning actor.” Now wouldn’t that be just great. What do you think?
